Studio B is a 35-square-meter control room that combines comfort and ergonomics, making it the perfect environment for all post-production processes such as editing, mixing, and mastering. The acoustic design was executed by Donato Masci and his team at Studio Sound Service, a leader in acoustic consulting and design in Italy and abroad, with over 300 studios completed for international artists and companies such as Andrea Bocelli, Renato Zero, Disney, and Netflix. Thanks to their work, the listening experience in Studio B is extraordinarily faithful to reality, with an extremely linear frequency response across the audible spectrum and millimeter-perfect symmetry, ensuring an impeccable stereo image. Special attention was given to low-frequency management, one of the most complex challenges for any recording studio. In fact, the Genelec monitors are mounted in a 25-ton concrete baffle, which blocks low frequencies and eliminates unwanted resonances, while at the back of the room, a wall over a meter thick, with 80 cm of polyester fiber, effectively absorbs them. In most studios, the room's acoustics distort the listening experience due to reflections, phase cancellations, and other interferences, leading engineers to make decisions based on inaccurate information, like a painter using glasses that distort shapes and perspectives. In Studio B, however, the listening environment acts as a true measuring tool, allowing engineers to perceive sound exactly as it is. This level of precision ensures that mixes and masters translate perfectly across any listening system, maintaining consistency and quality in every context.
